Our Unique Qualities
There are explicit, measurable aspects of Capital EAP that make us unlike any other EAP. Our 30 years of experience providing EAP benefits has taught us a great deal about adding value, synergy, and measurable outcomes to an employer’s capital investment in our services. We stand strongly behind this statement as demonstrated by the following:
- Capital EAP is “owned and operated” as a not-for-profit entity. The hallmark of our motivation and philosophy is service, not profit. As such, our philosophy and entire infrastructure are built around what is best for our client companies and their employees.
- Capital EAP is a Capital Region business. Our employees live here, they raise their families here, and they know the community. Our services are provided with knowledge and sensitivity regarding local needs. Our investment in positive outcomes for our client companies affects us all.
- Capital EAP is the largest and most experienced regional EAP. Our diverse list of client companies conveys the integrity, leadership, and innovation it takes to gain and maintain loyalty and confidence. While our client list speaks for itself, our outcome statistics truly demonstrate our effectiveness. Last year’s survey results indicated a 99% client satisfaction rate.
- Capital EAP is one of many community social service programs operated by Family and Children’s Service of the Capital Region, Inc. (FCSCR). This affords Capital EAP clients immediate and direct access to the area’s leading experts in the behavioral and mental healthcare field. Our broad spectrum of programs enables us to provide an unparalleled continuum of services.
- Capital EAP provides the majority of direct care employee assistance services with a clinical staff that is employed by FCSCR. This design allows us to closely supervise and monitor the quality of service we provide.
- Capital EAP maintains local, state, and national supportive affiliations, collaborative agreements, and networking contracts. This provides our staff with the technical assistance, training opportunities, and consultation services needed to maintain the highest caliber of professional skills possible.
- No employee or family member is ever turned away because they have “used up their allowable sessions”. Clients who need further consultation, clinical services or case management are provided additional sessions, referral recommendations or access to additional resources. In addition, employees have the option of receiving ongoing clinical and/or other services from any of the programs that are operated by FCSCR.
- By design, Capital EAP is invested in keeping our services easy to access and our business procedures simple. In addition, Capital EAP maintains its own interactive website where employees, managers, supervisors, and human resource professionals can go for information. It is an effective means of promoting EAP and connecting with individuals in need of service.
