Capital EAP recognizes the need to be flexible and strives to involve employers to the fullest extent in implementing a customized EAP program. Each Capital EAP program will reflect subtle differences based on the unique needs of each employer. However, the following benefits are an essential part of each Capital EAP contract:
Services to Employees and Dependent Family Members
- Confidential, professional counseling in either 3, 6, or 8 sessions
- Clinical assessment and referrals
- 24/7 emergency clinical services
- Depression screening
- Legal referrals
- Financial referrals
- Professional/personal development and wellness workshops
- Access to confidential, interactive website
- Quarterly employee newsletter
- Unlimited on-site orientations to inform employees of EAP benefits
Services to Managers and Supervisors
- Management consultation and coaching regarding any type of workplace issue. This can include FMLA, ADA, sexual harassment, discrimination, violence in the workplace, facilitating change, diversity, reduction in force, etc.
- Formal supervisory referrals of employees experiencing significant work performance issues
- Unlimited workplace interventions to assist with interpersonal conflicts, systems or policy changes and other issues effecting the production and wellness of an entire department or office
- Assistance with transitioning through changes
- Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) – Consultation and debriefing to minimize the effects of a traumatic event in the workplace
- Training in management/leadership skills and workplace issues
- Unlimited on-site orientations to assist managers and supervisors in effectively using the EAP
Services to Human Resource Professionals/Designated EAP contacts
- Quarterly and annual impact reports
- Ongoing assessment and evaluation
- Assistance with policy and procedure development related to EAP
- Designated number of annual trainings for company/organization (See Trainings)
- Quarterly Capital EAP newsletter, the Mentor
- Bi-annual consortium breakfast meetings
- Participation in vendor/benefit/health and wellness fairs
